Two more expeditions from the SU camp in Glen Etive.

Firstly, in July 1977, with a big group of campers. It was a hot day, and the unremitting ascent up the south shoulder was a gruelling experience. Once there, we enjoyed the walk along the ridge, and dropped of the col before Stob Coire Raineach into the valley between Buachaille Etive Mor and Beag, then followed a path on the west side of the Allt Gartain back to the starting point at Dalness.

Almost exactly a year later, we repeated the walk with a different group, but this time continued the short rocky ascent of Stob Coire Raineach, subsequently elevated to a Munro in its own right. Unfortunately the weather let us down, and we faced wind and rain, so didn't linger long on the second peak.

For some reason, I didn't take any photos on either occasion!
