We followed the well trod "tourist route" to the summit from Rowardennan. Snow was lying from 400m, and was quite deep (0.5m) on the top, which was very busy, with lots of folk making the New Year pilgrimage to the summit. We even saw one hardy soul walking in bare feet in the snow!

Ben Lomond from Beinn Narnain

Several years later, Ben Lomond was looming picturesquely above the mist as I climbed the slopes of Ben Narnain above Arrochar.
