| This was a very early climb. I was a leader at a Scripture Union camp based at the last cottage before the end of the Glen Etive road. Each day, different groups set out to climb a nearby mountain. This day 10 campers and 2 leaders set out for Beinn Fhionnlaidh. It was a fairly easy walk in over trackless hill, then a steep climb up to the ridge. The views were pretty good in all directions. Returned down the (alomost dry) river bed - boulder hopping most of the way. | |
