After climbing Beinn Achaladair the previous day, we were looking for a relatively easy day, en route for Edinburgh. These 2 Munros were a prime target, as the starting point was at 550m above sea level at the high point of the road ove to Geln Lyon, beyond the Ben Lawers visitor centre. As anticipated, it was a straightforward ascent up a broad ridge to Meall Corranaich. The only problem was a very strong wind. Anne decided to return to the car, while I continued on to Meall a' Choire Leith - another unassuming mountain. A steep and rapid descent into Gleann Da-Eig, then a very boggy walk soon brought me back to the start of the walk.
